Anu's Lab commissions Vizag plant

Anu's Laboratories Ltd has commissioned its new plant at the Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City, Visakhapatnam, on Thursday, the BSE was informed. The Hyderabad-based company has invested over Rs 63 crore in the plant for manufacturing drug intermediates including active pharmaceutical ingredients. — Our Bureau

Anu's Laboratories Ltd has acquired all the assets including land, building, plant and machinery of Stilbene Chemicals Ltd located at Pydibhimavaram, Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, the company informed the BSE.
When contacted, Mr Madhu R Mallipaddi, Chief Financial Officer of Anu's Laboratories Ltd, told Business Line that the facility was acquired for about Rs 8 crore. “The facility, which has not been operational of late, will be synchronised with our existing facilities for manufacturing bulk drugs,'' Mr Mallipaddi added.
