About 40% of the R&D efforts are directed at developing processes for reducing or eliminating waste. Similarly, about 40% of all investments go into projects for recovery of by-products, or effluent treatment. Treatment facilities include gas scrubbers, solar evaporation ponds, elaborate settling tanks, etc.

We have received a grant from the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (a Government agency) as an incentive for implementing the project for recovery of by-products, and for demonstrating our deep commitment to “Cleaner Production”.
